Synopsis：Butch (Josh Hartnett) and Lee (Aaron Eckhart) are both leaders in the boxing world. Lee is known as "Mr. Fire", while Butch is known as "Mr. Fire". "Mr. Ice". Lee is in the police enforcement team, while Butch is more down and out. In a boxing match held at the police station, Butch deliberately lost to Li, thus joining the police station and becoming Li's partner. The two became friends who talked about everything. The two were ordered to investigate a serial murder committed by a guy named Nash. During an ambush, Li killed a surveillance suspect to save Butch, but failed to catch Nash.
