There is a theater troupe in Warsaw, Poland, including an actor bnski (played by Tom Du) who is extremely good at imitating German leaders. Maa Ta (played by Carlo Lombard) and Joseph Ta (played by Jack Benny) are a couple in the theater troupe, which is currently performing "Hamlet". During the performance, Maa received a bouquet of flowers from a young pilot Stanisl Sonski (played by Robert Stack). While Joseph was reading the famous line "to be or not to be" on the stage, she arranged for Sonski to enter. Backstage, the two secretly fell in love. However, soon after, Poland was invaded, and Sonski had to go to fight. Sonski's team is Professor Siletsky. Sonski wants Siletsky to help bring a letter to Maa. However, Siletsky doesn't even know the famous actress Maa, so Sonski begins to doubt Siletsky. Sonski returned to Warsaw to track Siletsky. On the other hand, Maa was taken to see Siletsky by two soldiers. Siletsky also loved Maa and hoped that Maa would become a spy in Poland. Maa made an excuse to escape home, but unexpectedly met Sonski and her husband Josef at home. How will this triangle relationship end, and how will they join forces to fight against each other?
