Scott Eastwood, Caribe Landry Jones, and Orlando Bloom will star in Millennium's Afghan war-themed film "The Outpost" (the outpost, temporary translation). Rod Larry directed the film, which was adapted from the book by journalist Jake Tapper. The story of the film will revolve around the true story of 53 soldiers who launched a protracted battle with about 400 enemy militants in northeastern Afghanistan. The outpost they built is located at the base of three steep mountains just 14 miles from the Pakistan border. The base is under attack. The soldiers stationed there face huge threats. In the film, Scott Eastwood plays Sergeant Clint Romosa, Caribe Landry Jones plays professional sergeant Ty Michael Carter, and Bloom plays Benjamin D. Keating, who unfortunately died in the Afghan war. The film is expected to start shooting in August this year, and the film will also be looking for buyers at the Cannes Festival.
