Based on Jane Austen's novel of the same name. Elizabeth Bennet (played by Keira Knightley) was born in a small landowner family and has four sisters. Mrs. Bennet spends her days thinking about finding a satisfactory husband for her daughter. The family's monotonous country life is broken up by the new neighbor Mr. Bingley and his friend Darcy (Matthew Macfadyen). Bingle and Elizabeth Jane Bennet had a mutual affection; Darcy developed a liking for the kind and smart Elizabeth, but Elizabeth was prejudiced against Darcy's arrogance and did not accept his affection. However, things are unpredictable, and the relationship between Bingle and Jane Bennet is in danger due to misunderstanding. Darcy's various actions show the same kind side of Bingle and Elizabeth, and gradually win Elizabeth's favor. Can two pairs of lovers finally get married? Can the Bennet sisters get the lives they want? The British rural life and social scene in the early 19th century described by Jane Austen are re-presented on the big screen.
