Synopsis：2016 Tokyo Festival Best Actress & Jury Grand Prize-winning film. It tells the story of the growth of Ella Maya, a little girl from the Sami ethnic group living in northern Europe. The Sami people, also known as the Lapps, are a nomadic people living in northern Europe. The Sami people have their own language (Sami), unique music (joik), traditional clothing, etc., and make a living by raising reindeer. For quite some time, countries such as Sweden and Norway have tried to assimilate the Sami people by forcing them to receive education, and even banned the use of the Sami language in schools and public places.
