Synopsis： the documentary tells the story of five chinese teachers running a four-week chinese-style teaching experiment in a secondary school in hampshire in the south of the united kingdom. chinese teaching is characterized by harshness and length of time. chinese students are always at the top of some well-known international examinations. but is it possible to use chinese teaching methods to educate british high school students? what about the teachers and students who took the experiment? what do they know? first, as part of the experiment, chinese teachers took over a class of 50 students in grade 9. the students had to wear uniform for a period of four weeks, arrive at 7 a.m. each day and remain in school for up to 12 hours, with two breaks for food and rest. a ceremony to raise the chinese flag is also held once a week.
