Synopsis:British writer James Miller (William Shimell) came to the Italian city of Tuscany to give a lecture on his new work "Legal Vice". He discussed the book's point of view with readers: it is unnecessary to have real discussions about artistic creation, because the body is the original work, and the original work is also derived from other works. An antique dealer (Juliette Noche) brought his 11-year-old son to the seminar and wanted to get an autograph for the book he just bought. She left early because her son was hungry and left a phone number before leaving. Miller meets her again at her antique store, and they drive to the countryside to look at something. She drove Miller around aimlessly, talking about the book's themes, visiting museums, and talking about her rebellious son, and the two bickered along the way. In a cafe, the female boss thought Miller was her husband, so she started discussing marriage with her around Miller. So they made mistakes, Miller began to play the husband, the two went on dates and went to hotels. But in the subtitles, not the original, Miller ended his identity and left the suburbs alone. Binoche won the Best Actress Award in the Main Competition of the 63rd Cannes Festival for this film.
