Synopsis:Danvers State Hospital is not far from Boston. It was built in the 1860s and housed more than 2,000 patients at most. It is now abandoned and is waiting to be rebuilt and used for other purposes. The asbestos needed to be removed before reconstruction, and a company specializing in the removal of hazardous materials undertook the task. Five men, including company owner Gordon, walked into this eerie behemoth. Gordon had a wife and a newborn daughter at home, so he was asked to make money to support the family, so he tried his best to take over the work and promised to finish the work in two or three weeks a week; Phil was a small boss because his girlfriend left with someone else. Hook it up; Hank is the guy who kidnapped his girlfriend, is a proud gambler, and always mocks Phil; followed by Mike, a law student, and Jeff, Gordon's nephew, a simple young man. As soon as the five people entered, Gordon heard a strange sound, which seemed to come from the past of this hospital. Mike is very interested in the history of the hospital. In the basement he found some tapes that recorded information on a patient with multiple personalities named Mary Hobbs. There were nine parts in total. Mike began to listen to these tapes; at the same time, Phil Er begins to question Gordon's mental condition, Jeff struggles with his fear of the dark, and Hank discovers some treasure hidden in a wall. He goes out at night and never comes back. The pressure at work is increasing day by day. Hank's disappearance and a series of strange events have made everyone's nerves more and more tense. People's spirits are so easily affected and distorted. The horrific history and painful torture in the past, as well as the strange events and inner secrets of the people around them, are weighing on everyone's hearts bit by bit, while House Danvers watches them silently, casting its own shadow into everyone's heart. Day by day, no one knows what is at the end of the long, dark corridor, what is hidden on the other side of the wall, who among them is lying, who will collapse, and who can be trusted? Fear seeps up from the deepest part and permeates every corner. Facing his own fragile spirit and mysterious environment, he doesn't know what all this means, and his psychological endurance is severely tested. And the ending is always unexpected...
