Synopsis:Tony (Viggo Mortensen) is a young man who works as a waiter in a house. This restaurant will be closed for a few months for some reason, but Tony's rent and living expenses will not be cancelled, so his first priority is to find another job to fill the vacancy for these few months. At this juncture, a black pianist named Tang Shirley (Mahershala Ali) offered to hire Tony. Shirley Tang was about to start an eight-week tour south. However, discrimination against blacks was very serious in the South at that time, so Tony became Shirley Tang's driver and bodyguard. Along the way, the two people's different personalities caused many conflicts between them. At the same time, the various unfair treatments Tang Shirley suffered in the south also made Tony feel abhorred by racial discrimination.
