Synopsis：Frances (Jennifer Gray) went to the Kellerman Mountains for vacation with her family. 17-year-old Frances has no interest in boys, dancing, or family games. By chance, she came to a hotel where men and women were dancing together very intimately. Frances immediately found the dancing distasteful. Dance coach Johnny (Patrick Swayze) came to her. He relieved Frances of her worries and taught her the basic steps of dance. While studying, Frances also found herself falling in love with Johnny. Johnny was afraid to pursue a relationship with Frances for fear of being fired. At this time, Johnny's dance partner became pregnant with Luo, a college student.
