Synopsis:Growing up in a poor Gypsy camp, Edmond Vidal, also known as Mormon, has retained a sense of family responsibility, infinite loyalty and pride. In particular, he still maintains a friendship with Serge Shuttle, who was imprisoned for theft. The two were inevitably involved in criminal organizations. In the 1960s and 1970s, gangs were notorious for their armed presence. The growing gangs were curbed in the mid-1970s. Today, over 60 years old, Edmond wants to erase this part of his life, find a place away from business, and turn to his wife, children and grandchildren who have suffered because of it. However, his wife, children and eldest children have a deep appreciation for this man's frankness, universal values, clear mind, and profound respect for infinite kindness. But the arrival of Serge Shuttle cannot erase the ripples in history... Olivier Martial, the behind-the-scenes producer, is considered the successor to the gangster films of the 1960s and 1970s, the Melville era. Although his "Police Station 36" and "MR73 Left Gun" belong to the general category of commercial police and gangsters, the plots have a strong sense of reality and fate, which shows his directorial ability. His latest film "Gangs of Lyon" was released recently. The film has the ambition to become a version of "The Godfather" and "The Wire", but it has received mixed reviews. Some viewers thought the film's story was very sincere, while others complained that its style was too deliberate and inconsistent. Olivier Martial was a policeman before he started acting. His first two works also told police stories, but "Gangs of Lyon" focused the camera on their opposites. "I don't want to glorify gangsters. On the contrary, it shows that the so-called sacred and inviolable friendship between men is just an illusion. In the end, my gangster will either be raped or imprisoned, and there will be no good end."
