Synopsis：Kelly Overton has confirmed to join Syfy's 13-episode new science fiction drama "Vanessa Helsing" as the heroine. Jonathan Scarfe, Chstopher Heyerdahl, PL Johansson, Did Cutt and Tim Guinee also joined. This one-hour drama is actually an adaptation of the Dracula vampire series. It mainly tells the story of Van Helsing, the only surviving descendant of a warrior ethnic group, Vanessa Helsing (played by Overton), who leads all mankind to resist vampires. Scarfe will play Axel, a professional marine. Although he has been alone for many years, he still adheres to his vows and responsibilities unswervingly. Heyerdahl plays Sam, a man who came down during the rise of vampires. His observation skills and strong body allowed him to survive. Cutt will play John, who is also a criminal, but his behavior is much more impulsive and full of prejudice, suspicion and fear. Johansson will play Dimit, the current vampire army leader. Guinee will play Ted, a vampire warrior with a sad past.
